1968 Pontiac Firebird 400

This five passenger convertible coupe is the recipient of a complete restoration . A total of 16,960 convertibles were built compared to 90,152 hardtops, with a sticker price of $2,996.00. The Firebird was built using the Camaro body and frame but with quite a few styling differences separating itself quickly from the Camaro. Firebirds were available as convertibles until the body was redesigned with a coupe only in 1970.

This Firebird came equipped with a 400 ci. V-8 engine, with a 4-barrel carburetor from the factory and is now powered by a replacement 350, automatic transmission in the center console, and is silver in color with a red interior and a black Hartz Cloth convertible top. This sharp California car is equipped with an aftermarket AM/FM radio, power brakes/steering, and power top. Enjoy the summer sun with the top down and cruise in 1960s style.
