1950 Mercury Deluxe

This six passenger, Deluxe Coupe was styled more like a Lincoln but had a much lower base price of $1,980. This car is equipped with a 255ci 110 hp, eight cylinder engine and a 3 speed column mounted shifter with Overdirve. This California beauty is finished in black with a blue/gray and green cloth interior, AM radio, and clock.

The motor was both bigger in size and horsepower compared to the 1950 Ford. For 1950 the dash was completely restyled and improvements were also made to the carburetor, parking brake, and steering. This is the same type of car made famous by James Dean in Rebel Without a Cause and is a popular choice for customizers and hot rodders.
