The 1966 Chevrolet Corvette Roadster is a beautiful thing to behold in its Black convertible top, Tuxedo Black paint and Red leather interior. Powering this beast was the new 427ci.-425bhp-V8, numbers matching, 4 barrel Holley carburetor, mated to a 4-Speed manual transmission. The 427 had 460lbs/ft of torque and many thought the horsepower rating was modest at 425bhp, and was actually closer to 450bhp.

This Vette is loaded with options such as leather seats, Soft Ray tinted windshield, shoulder belts, special front/rear suspension, posi-traction rear axle, power steering/brakes, transistor ignition, side mount exhaust system, teakwood steering wheel, telescopic steering wheel, cast aluminum knock-off wheels, and an A/M-F/M radio. Back in 1966 the only other car that could touch it for acceleration was the 427 Cobra, and this Vette was a much more comfortable and optioned car. This is one cool car.
